I grew up on the Marblehead Peninsula, and spent my summers roaming the beach and fishing on Lake Erie, or along the docks at my family’s marina.
I graduated from Danbury in 2004 and attended Kent State University, where I focused on painting and honed my techniques before graduating in 2008 with Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art and Painting.
In 2014, I inherited Desdemona’s from my mother, Artist Laura A. Brown, when I was able to return to the peninsula, an area that has served as endless inspiration for my photorealist style oil paintings.
After 6 years of operating Desdemona's full time I opted to close the doors of the gallery and focus entirely on painting commissions. My current private studio is located in Lakewood, Ohio which grants me access to even more Lake Erie coastline. Visit me at events like the area boat shows or the Spooky Pooch parade, and of course watch me work online!
I am easily accessible for custom work. Just call, text, email or facebook message me with your reference photo or idea!
